New Music coming up!

The first half of the year passed faster than expected, and so it's time to catch up about everything that's coming up this summer!
April, May, and June were months well spent. Although most of the concerts are yet to come, I have already played some very nice shows and spent a fair share of my time recording as well. First in April in Duisburg and then a couple of times in my beloved Waldhause studio near Magdeburg, where my recordings usually happen. As I mentioned in the last newsletter, I am working on an EP and the next album at the same time. The EP is a 100% solo project, and I will tell you all about it in September. But the album is a different matter, and it will be full of exciting collaborations!
Now, that's not all when it comes to releasing new music. A couple of years ago, I had the chance to work on a trio project conducted by Carlo Domeniconi. I was playing alongside Julia Schüler and Fabian Zeller, and together we recorded 3 Suites – Suite Teresienne and Auserwählte Stücke by Johann Anton Kaufhaus and Sonntag auf dem Lande by Carlo himself. It's a special music, probably not for everyone, but full of humour, which is also the main characteristic of all three suites. I am extremely happy that I had the chance to participate, and I learned so much along the way.
The great news is that the recordings are on the way. The first suite – Suite Teresienne – will be released on August 14, followed by the second suite – Auserwählte Stücke – shortly after. This second suite will also get a total of 12 Videos on YouTube! The third suite will be released in September. If you want to be a part of that, check out my Deezer, YouTube or Instagram accounts!
